United States M-1 Garand semi-automatic service rifle built at Springfield Arsenal in the mid 1950s. CMP Collector Grade Greek return rifle. "SA" marked barrel dated "4-55" with correct military sights. Correct "SA" marked bolt, op rod, and late style trigger group. Walnut "DOD" marked stock with "P" in circle cartouche. Comes with late style M5A1 "Imperial" marked bayonet in original "USM8A1" marked sheath. Gun also comes with late style green woven sling and gunlock in original CMP shipping box. CONDITION: Like new with overall 90% original arsenal finish. Wood has sharp cartouches with some handling dings and marks. Good bore with TE of 1 and ME of 1. Good mechanics. DLM
