Classic World War II Soviet autoloading rifle manufactured at the Tula Arsenal in 1943 in standard military configuration. Original serial number "XT6191" stamped on the receiver and stock, with matching numbers electropenciled on bolt and trigger guard. Magazine not matching. In addition to Tula star, date and Russian proofs, receiver is marked with a small "CDI" import marking. Metal components exhibit reapplied arsenal blued finish with the bolt plum finished. Birch stock dated 1944 and marked with Tula star. Rifle accompanied by Mosin dog-collar web sling, oil bottle, tools and shipping box. CONDITION: Excellent. Retains nearly all of its finishes with some light wear on bolt and a few impressions on the stock. Bright bore with crisp rifling. Fine mechanics. BAS
