Russian Tula SKS semi automatic rifle with box. Made 1951 at Tula as marked on the dust cover. Faint Tula cartouche over "1951" on the left side on the butt stock. Import marked on the left side of the receiver. Matching serials on the receiver, bolt, carrier, dust cover, magazine, trigger guard and forced match butt stock. Round, steel, chrome lined barrel with hooded front sight post and blade bayonet. Post front sight and rear tangent adjustable to 1000 meters. Black enamel, factory rework finish on the metal components. Dark lacquered wood stock. Trapdoor metal butt plate with cleaning kit inside. Includes Russian web sling, oil bottle, stripper clip and importer box. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its factory reapplied finish with a few handling marks and scratches. Wood has a few handling marks as well. There is a factory repair on the right side of the stock, above the cross bolt. Shiny bore with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Accessories are very good, as is the box. JWA
