Built in 2002. A nice big game safari rifle with 23 - 1/2" nitro proof barrels with extractors, matte quarter rib, one standing sight with silver line (regulated for 55 yards), loop for sling and is tapped for scope. The foresight is ramped and bladed. The satin nickel finished boxlock frame is engraved with loose acanthus scroll. The action has double triggers front being hinged, blacked top lever with thumb piece being checkered, blacked combination checkered cocking slide safe, and a blacked trigger guard. Bottom of action is engraved with matching scroll and reads "KRIEGHOFF CLASSIC". The checkered pistol grip on the European walnut stock is in a classic style with a flared shadow line cheekpiece and loop for a sling. The buttstock is affixed with a large black and brown Decelerator buttpad. The beavertail forend with Schnable-styled tip is fitted with a Deeley-styled latch release. This classic double rifle is housed and transported in a "KRIEGHOFF" ABS case. CONDITION: Fine. Barrels retain 99% original blue. Bores are clean and rifling is sharp. Action is tight on face. Triggers are crisp. Stock is good with usage marks. Forend is very good. CP
