German Berlin Luebecker G.41(W) semi-automatic rifle. Made 1943 in the C serial block at Berlin Lubecker on tooling and assistance provided by Walther. No import mark. Matching serials on the nose cone, front sight tube/gas tube, receiver, magazine, bolt carrier, dust cover, floor plate, and stock. "(Eagle) / 214" Waffenamts throughout, in addition to an "(Eagle) / WaA214" on the right side of the stock. Blade front sight with rear sight adjustable to 1200 Meters. Nicely finished metal components. Laminate wood stock left unfinished. Correct resin handguard. Cupped metal buttplate. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. There is some very light patina on the nose cone and gas tube. Wood has a few handling marks, but is excellent overall. Bore is shiny and crisp. Mechanically excellent. A fine example of an early G.41 rifle. JWA
