Lot consist of: (A) Chinese M21 SKS semi automatic rifle. Made 1960s. Marked "M21" on the left side of the receiver. M21 marked guns were typically made for export to communist friendly countries. Correctly lacks factory codes on the receiver. No import mark found on this rifle, so it is possible that this is a vet capture from Vietnam. Serial numbers on the receiver, trigger guard, magazine, stock, top cover, bolt, and bolt carrier all match. Standard post front sight with rear sight adjustable to 1000 meters. Chrome lined bore. Original Chinese bluing on the metal components. Oil finished wood stocks with steel trapdoor buttplate. Cleaning kit inside the butt plate. Correct folding blade bayonet. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with some areas of wear and handling marks. Wood has minor dings, scratches and dents. Bore is very clean with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. (B) Chinese Type 56 SKS semi automatic rifle. 11 million serial range made at the Jianshe arsenal circa 1966. "Triangle 26" marking on the left side of the receiver, followed by the serial number. Left side of the stock has a "(Triangle)/ 2" on the left side of the stock. No import mark found. Matching serials on the receiver, magazine, trigger group, stock, top cover, bolt and bolt carrier. Standard post front sight with rear sight adjustable to 1000 meters. Chrome lined bore. Original Chinese bluing on the metal components. Oil finished wood stocks with steel trapdoor buttplate. Cleaning kit inside the butt plate. Folding spike bayonet. No cleaning rod present. CONDITION: Metal retains 75% of its original finish, with general wear and handling marks. Wood has handling marks, dings and scratches. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
