M-1 Carbine built by Inland Division of General Motors between March 1943 and May 1943. Correct military barrel marked "Inland Mfg.Div. General Motors" and dated "8-43". Unmarked front sight and correct "S" marked rear flip sight. Correct Inland marked trigger group and internals. AI marked blued flat bolt. Correct push button safety and plain face magazine catch. Walnut uncut high wood stock with oval cut oiler slot with crossed cannons cartouche on right side and "IO" in sling well with "P" in circle stamp on grip cap. 2 rivet walnut top wood with "IO" marking. Comes "U" marked 15 round clip and unmarked oiler with "NS" olive drab woven sling. CONDITION: World War II correct carbine with no import marks in fine condition with some small handling dings and marks. Excellent bore with ME of 2. Good mechanics and a great gun. DLM
