Superb high condition matching numbered early 1921 Thompson "C", 100 round drum magazine. Marked "MAGAZINE TYPE "C"/THOMPSON SUBMACHINE GUN/100 CARTRIDGES CAL .45/WIND TO 15 CLICKS/NO. 344", on the faceplate. Rear plate is marked "AUTO-ORDANCE CORP./NEW YORK N.Y. U.S.A./PATENTED/JULY 27 1920 DEC 7 1920/NO.344". No markings on the winding key. Original matte blued finish. Nickel rotor in outstanding bright condition. CONDITION: Exterior metal finish is excellent with a few scuffs and scratches. Close examination of the interior does not indicate that this drum was ever loaded with any rounds. Mechanics are crisp and positive. This would be a drum pretty much impossible to improve on the condition of in addition to it having matching numbers. Investment level condition of the highest order for the forward thinking advanced Colt Thompson collector. JWK
