Winchester M1 Carbine semi automatic rifle. 3rd serial block, made spring 1945. Undated Winchester proofed barrel. "C" marked Winchester front band. Unmarked front sight with a Winchester marked rear. Winchester marked trigger group. Winchester Type IV slide. "W" marked round bolt. Stock marked "W" in the sling channel. "A" marked in the inside channel of the handguard. No import mark. Standard blade front sight and adjustable rear. Metal retains its original parkerized finish. Wood stock has been lightly refinished. Checkered metal butt plate. Includes 1 Saginaw marked 15 round magazine, canvas sling and oiler. Sling does not look to be dated. CONDTION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. Wood is excellent overall. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine is excellent. Magazine is excellent, as is the sling. JWA
