Beautifully made side by side double rifle in .375 Flanged made by John Rigby and Company London, England, circa 1920. Chopper lump blued barrels with doll's head rib extension proofed for 45 grains of Cordite and a 310 grain bullet. Barrels have 1/4 rib with European style claw scope bases. Standing notched rear sight with extra standing and two folding sights in case. Barrels have extractors and rib is engraved "375 FL". Case hardened Webley long bar action with double triggers and borderline scroll engraving. Fine walnut checkered pistol grip stock with no cheekpiece, rubber recoil pad, German silver stock shield, sling swivel, and capped pistol grip. Walnut lever release checkered splinter forearm. Gun is topped off with a 1.5-6x42 Schmidt & Bender scope with duplex reticle in claw rings. Comes in leather covered oak trunk maker's label case with brass name plate and snap caps. Gun also comes with 160 rounds of ammunition and RCBS dies. CONDITION: 90% plus of a complete professional refinish with light handling marks and dings in wood. Caliber marking added on rib. Great bores, mechanics, and optics. Ammunition and case in good condition with case showing age appropriate damage. A great rifle. DLM
