U.S. M-1 Garand semi-automatic rifle made in the M-1D sniper configuration by Springfield Armory. Frame originally made in June of 1945. "SA" marked barrel dated "1-52" which falls into the correct time period for manufacture at Springfield Armory. Parkerized frame with "SA" marked bolt and cut op-rod. "SA" marked stamped trigger group with all "SA" marked parts exception of the safety which is marked "HRA". Walnut unmarked stock with short handguard. Reproduction leather cheekpiece and scope mount. Original "M-84" snipe scope with fencepost reticle. Reproduction scope mount. Reproduction flash hider. Comes with cleaning kit and Boyt leather sling. CONDITION: 90% remaining reapplied arsenal finish with some light handling marks. Wood has some light scratches and dings. Gun has ME of 1 and a TE of 2. Good mechanics with scope clear. Most likely a "CMP" build rifle. DLM
