Rare M-1 Carbine manufactured between April 1943 and June 1943 by Irwin Pedersen in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This gun was probably assembled at Saginaw after their takeover of the Irwin Pedersen contract. Correct "Underwood" marked barrel dated "3-43". Correct "IPN" marked front sight and correct rear flip sight with "S" marking. Irwin Pedersen marked frame with correct "IP" marked trigger group, slide, and blued flat bolt. Walnut uncut high wood stock with oval cut marked with "SG" and crossed cannons with "P" in circle on tang. Correct "UP" marked front sling band and "IP-W" marked recoil plate. Walnut incorrect 4 rivet unmarked handguard. Comes with 15 round "KCI" marked magazine, oiler, and olive woven sling. Attractive looking gun. CONDITION: Metal has areas of slight surface pitting and corrosion. Wood has been cleaned with visible cartouches. Gun has ME of 2 with good mechanics. DLM
