Lot of three Northern Pacific Railroad advertisements. Circa 1883 announcing the opening of the Northern Pacific RR after Golden Spike Ceremony, Sept. 8, 1883. The first one is a double-sided advertisement in frame that shows both sides, reads "The Last Stake has been Driven and the New Short Line Between Chicago, St. Paul and Portland, Oregon Via the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Route is Now Open for Business". The second piece is a heavy cardstock easel back advertisement for the Northern Pacific Slumber Coach between Seattle and Chicago, graphic black and white photos of people using the slumber coach, stamped "Northern Pacific Railway". The third item is a paper litho advertisement marked :Northern Pacific Yellowstone Park Light Special Training of the World's Champion Show Herds". Some creasing and fold marks are evident.
