Yugoslavian M76 manufactured by Zastava. The M76's design is closely based off of the Yugoslavian M70 rifle and was designed in the mid-1970s to fulfill a similar role to that of the Soviet SVD rifle, but chambered in 8mm Mauser due to the large surplus of ammunition leftover from World War II. The bottom of the receiver is marked "PATTERSON MACHINE DECATUR TX/ MOD. 76 SPORTER/ CAL. 7.92MM" over the serial number. Left side bears markings stipulating the manufacturer just below the rear sight. Features include a parkerized finish, 25" barrel, flash suppressor, standard Yugoslavian wood furniture, rubber recoil pad, TAPCO trigger, side mounted ZRAK 4x optic, as well as standard AK style backup iron sights. Complete with a 10-round magazine. CONDITION: Metal components retain the vast majority of their parkerized finish, exhibiting a few scattered marks from handling and storage. Bore is excellent, showing well defined lands and grooves throughout. Wood furniture is very good, showing few minor handling marks. Optic is clear and shows some scattered spots. MLW
