Soviet Russian Izhevsk SVT-40 semi-automatic rifle with box. Made 1941 at the Izhevsk factory. Standard Russian proofs on the chamber area. "1941" dated chamber. Import marked. Matching serials numbers on the receiver, bolt, trigger guard, and stock. Magazine does not match. Faint Tula star over "1941" cartouche on the right side of the stock. Import mark and importer applied serial number on the right side of the receiver. Standard flash suppressor on the muzzle. Hooded post front sight with rear ladder adjustable to 1,500 meters. Arsenal re-applied blued finish on the metal components. Stock has a re-applied arsenal lacquer. Includes a Mosin Nagant style sling, cleaning kit, and importer box. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its finish with a few handling marks and scratches. Wood is excellent with some scratches. Bore is clean with strong rifling. Mechanically fine. Box and accessories are excellent. JWA
