Standard configuration SKS semi-automatic rifle manufactured at the Tula arsenal in 1954. Top of receiver cover bears the Tula arsenal emblem above "1954r". Small arsenal proofs are present on various external components. C.D.I. import stamp is present on the right side of the receiver, followed by the importer applied serial number. Arsenal matching numbers are present on the receiver, receiver cover, bolt carrier, bolt, magazine housing, trigger guard, gas cylinder, and stock. Features include a chrome-lined bore, blade type bayonet, and a solid birch stock. Complete with a Russian SKS canvas web sling, oiler, stripper clip, and butt trap cleaning kit. CONDITION: Metal components retain the vast majority of their arsenal reapplied blue finish, exhibiting a few superficial marks overall from handling and storage as well as a few spots of hardened cosmoline. Mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Stock is excellent, exhibiting small and minor marks from handling and storage. MLW
