Pre-ban Springfield Armory M1A semi automatic rifle. Made 1976 and turned into an M14E2 clone. "TRW" marked barrel dated "4-66". "HRA" marked rear sight and operating rod. There is an "SA" marked under the HRA. Springfield marked military bolt. Trigger group looks to be Springfield as well. Parkerized finish on the components. Rifle sits in an original M14E2 stock with fiberglass handguard. Includes an unmarked 5 round magazine and attached green canvas sling. Attached is to the flash hider is an M14E2 style flash hider and a M2 metal bipod. Bipod has a boxed DOD eagle stamp on the front. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with some light wear. Wood has a few dings and scratches, but is very good overall. The wrist is cracked and there is a small dent in the top of the handguard. Bore shows some signs of use, but retains crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Accessories are very good with light wear. JWA
