Pre Ban Colt Model SP1 semi automatic rifle with conversion kit. Lower receiver was made 1973. The upper receiver is not from an SP1 and is unmarked. Un-marked "HBAR", style barrel with an A1 style full cage flash hider. Standard gas block with bayonet lug. Post front sight and two position flip rear, inside the fixed carry handle. Upper has an A1 style forward assist. Phosphate style finish on most of the metal components. A1 style fixed butt stock and A2 style ribbed rear. Polymer pistol grip. Includes a 30 round Colt marked magazine. Also included is a Bingham LTD made Atchisson M16/AR-15 style .22 LR conversion kit with plastic case, manual and three metal .22lr magazines. Two of the magazines are marked "ATCHISSON M16/AR15" and blued, while a third is unmarked and parkerized. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finishes, with some light wear and handling marks. There is a few splotches of surface rust on the dust cover, and gas block. Furniture has handling marks and scratches. Bore shows signs of firing, but retains crisp rifling. Colt magazine has finish wear and scratches. Conversion kit shows some signs of wear and handling marks. Magazine and case have light finish wear. JWA
