A beautiful leaded glass floral lamp by D.L. Neuhauser. Only recently discovered, with great contribution and many thanks to Colin Hansford. Neuhauser lamps were made in Chicago in the first decade of the 20th century. There is evidence they produced at least some of their own glass, and proudly stated they produced all components of the shades and bases in house. The 22” shade features a geometric top of butterscotch granite backed glass. Right below the shoulders is a row of alternating square and rectangle tiles, a known signature of Neuhauser shades. The apron features beautiful tulips in red and orange, amongst green leaves. The shade has a five-hole plate at the aperture, another known feature of Neuhauser shades. The shade is in good condition with a fair number of heat cracks. A small area near the shoulders shows sign of repair, including the replacement of two tiles of blue rectangular glass. The shade rests on a three-socket bronze Neuhauser base. While Neuhauser no doubt made other styles of bases, this model is the one confirmed Neuhauser style, as it appeared in an original Neuhauser advertisement. The sockets and pull appear to be replacements. The base includes the original bronze heat cap and finial. The base is in very good condition, with no cracks or dents. Dimensions: 27" x 22" x 22".

This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
