Manufactured in 1889 and British proofed. This gun has a tapered octagonal barrel with a factory front sight and a No. 6 Lyman two-leaf rear sight. Smooth pump action with a tube magazine. Exposed case color hammer. Deluxe checkered pistol grip walnut rear stock with a checkered panel front stock. Two-line Colt address on the top flat of the barrel. Hard Rubber butt plate with the Rampant Colt logo on it. Rampant Colt Pony on the left side of the case colored receiver. CONDITION: Gun retains 60% of the original factory-applied blue finish with a few handling and storage marks The case color receiver has faded to a pleasing brownish patina and shows some freckling. Rear stock has a few dings and handling marks. The checkering is flat and there is a chip by the upper tang. Butt plate shows wear and has a small chip on the toe. The front stock has a nice checkered panel. Dark bore with lots of frosting in the lands and grooves. REW
