Manufactured in 1890. Rare and desirable .50-95 Express caliber. Octagonal barrel with standard post front sight and sporting rear sight. Two-line address on the top flat of the barrel. Full-length tube magazine. All blue gun with Rampant Colt logo on the left side of the receiver. Case color hammer. Upgraded 2X walnut rear stock and checkered panel front stocks with a crescent butt plate. CONDITION: Gun retains 80% of the original factory-applied blue finish with the remainder turning to an even brown patina. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. Checkering on the front stocks is sharp and crisp. Rear stock shows some slight handling and storage marks. There are two extra holes in the top tang for a peep sight. REW
