Manufactured in 1887. A first year production gun. Full round barrel with a Rocky Mountain front sight and sporting rear sight. Two-line address on the top of the barrel. Full-length tube magazine. All blue gun with Rampant Colt logo on the left side of the receiver. Plain walnut rear stock, checkered panel front stocks, and a crescent butt plate. CONDITION: Gun retains 20% of the original factory-applied blue finish in the protected areas with the remainder turning to an even brown patina. Good bore showing some light frosting in the lands and grooves. Checkering on the front stocks shows wear. The stocks are mismatched and the right grip has a couple of slight cracks. Rear stock shows some handling and storage marks. REW
