German combination Drilling gun made by "H. BURGSMULLER, KREIENSEN" with 16 gauge and 9.3mm x 72 gun barrels. Underneath the barrel are an "U" proof, serial number "24794", "16", "108/49", "Crown over E, G, & S", etc. Barrel with two flip-up rear sights, and a blade front sight. Barrel, receiver, and forearm have the serial number "24794". Receiver, side plates, hammers, trigger guard, tang, etc, have nice engraving. Top lever releases barrel, rifle has double exposed hammers, and sliding barrel selector. Walnut stock and forearm have grip checkering. Lever releases forearm. Grip cap and butt plate are plastic. Sling swivel is missing on stock, but the swivel base is present on the barrel. CONDITION: Overall good to very good, with barrel retaining less than 60% of its blued finish. Receiver, etc, have a nice patina with very light freckling. Stock has been sanded and partially refinished. Forearm is dark and worn from use. Bore is slightly dirty and will likely clean up.
