Lot contains: (A) Austrian detachable barrel side by side gun "Buechsflinte" marked "IGNAZ PACHER IN FERLACH" in 16 gauge and 9.3x72. Markings on the barrels are of various nearly illegible proofs. No serial numbers can be observed. Blued matted barrel has a fixed rear sight and a blade front sight. A flip-up diopter sight is on the tang. Receiver and trigger guard, have light engraving. Rifle has exposed hammers, dual triggers, no safety, and a large lever to detach the barrel assembly. Walnut stock and forearm have grip checkering. Sling swivels are present on barrel and stock. Metal buttplate. CONDITION: Rifle is overall very good, and retains 75-80% of its blued finish. Receiver, etc, have brown patina and light freckling. Walnut stock and forearm are dark and have light dings and scratches throughout. Bores are mostly bright and rifle is mechanically sound. No serial numbers can be observed. Matted barrel has a fixed rear sight, and a blade front sight. A flip-up diopter sight is on the tang. Receiver, trigger guard, etc, have light engraving. Rifle has exposed hammers, dual triggers, no safety, and a large lever to detach the barrel assembly, and a smaller lever to detach the forearm. Walnut stock and forearm have grip checkering. Sling swivels are present on barrel and stock. Metal buttplate and horn grip cap. CONDITION: Rifle is overall good, and retains less than 40% of its blued finish. Receiver, etc, have brown patina and light freckling. Walnut stock and forearm are dark and have light dings and scratches throughout. Bores are mostly bright and rifle is mechanically sound. WEZ
