Manufactured 1975. Early carryhandle sights with front adjustable for elevation only and rear for windage only. Early 3 prong flash hider. Barrel marked on top "C MP CHROME BORE". Front sight block with "C" cast in, bayonet lug, and rotatable sling loop. Distinct triangular 2 piece hand guards. 30 round Colt magazine. A1 style pistol grip without finger shelf. Buttstock with fixed sling loop and trap with cleaning kit. Bolt carrier marked "C". CONDITION: Very good, retaining virtually all of the Colt factory finishes with some minor marks from handling and storage. Polymer furniture somewhat worse than metal but still excellent. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is excellent with strong rifling. A great example of an early gun. EW
