1890 vintage 3rd model bolt action Hotchkiss sporting rifle, serial number 57613. 26" round barrel, chambered in .45-70 Government. Standard blade front and Model 1876 style fold-down ladder rear sights. 2 piece plain straight grain walnut stock and forearm. Crescent rifle style steel buttplate. CONDITION: Very good with a grey/brown patina overall. Stock has a 4 - 1/2" crack beginning at the top tang. Bore is turning dark. Action is tight. MKS
