Originally manufactured by Heckler & Koch as a HK Model 94, this example was later converted to the MP5 configuration. Top of receiver factory stampings have been scrubbed and restamped "HK MP5" followed by "7667". Top of receiver also bears a German Eagle over "N" nitro proof as well as "IF" followed by an Ulm proof house Stag antler proof, indicating manufacture in 1985. Right side of magazine well bears stampings stipulating Heckler & Koch as the manufacturer and importer, with the left side being stamped "KAL.9mmx19". Bolt head is stamped "IF 173" as well as with a German Eagle over "N" nitro proof. Features include a 9" barrel, HK tri-lug muzzle adapter, standard HK front and rear sights, telescoping checkered buttstock, as well as a 3-position selector marked "S", "E", and "F". Rear of magazine well is in-the-white, showing some grind marks from the time of conversion. This example is listed in the ATF Registry as "94" in the model block with the barrel length being listed as "16" and the overall length as "27.5". Complete with 2 additional magazines. CONDITION: Very good overall, with the receiver retaining bountiful amounts of its enamel finish. Stock shows some areas of wear that show through to grey patina. Muzzle adapter exhibits some wear that shows through to silvering. Mirror bore, exhibiting some firing residue within the lands, but otherwise retaining well-defined rifling throughout. Polymer furniture is very good, showing few superficial marks from handling and storage overall. Originally being designed and produced in 1966, HK's MP5 platform has a proven track record of over four decades, serving with numerous countries military, law enforcement, and security personnel, owing to its great desirability within the United States as a competitive and sporting firearm, making this an excellent example of Heckler & Koch's tried and true MP5 design.
