Pre-Ban Springfield M1A semi automatic rifle. Illinois production gun, made late 1984. Full bayonet lug and flash hider. Barrel is commercial production, marked "GENESEO" behind the flash hider. Stock has a "188" rack number on the top of the wrist. "NM" marked front sight and standard adjustable rear. "TRW" marked bolt and "HRA" marked charging handle. Trigger group looks to be commercial, but the hammer is marked "W.R.A.". Original phosphate finish. Charger bridge attached to the receiver. Surplus M14 stock with selector switch cut out. Fiberglass hand guard. Flip up metal butt plate with trapdoor. Includes attached green canvas sling and a 10 round "C.M.I." marked magazine with a phosphate metal finish. CONDITON: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with general wear. Stock has a few minor dings and scratches. Bore is clean overall with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine and sling have light wear. JWA
