Inland Division M1 Carbine semi automatic rifle. Made 1945 with a proper Inland marked "2-45" dated barrel. "P" firing proof on the barrel as well. Inland marked Type II rear sight. Front sight is marked "R" on top. Inland marked band/bayonet lug. Slide, bolt and trigger group are all Inland marked. Stock and handguard are both marked "OI" (Inland contractor). There is a circled "P" firing proof on the bottom of the wrist, and a crisp ordnance cartouche on the right side of the stock. Original parkerized finish and oil finished wood stock. Includes an un-dated original canvas sling, and a Winchester marked 15 round metal magazine. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its original finish with general wear and handling marks. Stock has a few dings and scratches. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Magazine and sling have light wear. Great example of a late World War Two correct Inland M1 Carbine. JWA
