Inland Division M1 carbine semi automatic rifle. Made 1943 in the first 1,000,000 serial block assigned to Inland. Barrel is Inland production and dated "8-43". There is a small import mark on the bottom of the barrel. World War II wide band with no bayonet lug. Flip up 2 position rear sight is marked "S" on the left side, while the front sight is marked "N" on top. Inland marked trigger group. Slide is Rock-Ola marked. Handguard is marked "IO", while the stock is marked "IR". There is an "AAW" marked arsenal stamp on the left side of the stock. "P" firing proof on the wrist. Original parkerized finish. Stock has its original light oil finish as well. Includes a reproduction green canvas sling and a 15 round Union Hardware magazine. CONDITION: Metal retains 75% of its original finish, with general wear. Stock has a few dings and scratches. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has light wear, and the sling is fine. JWA
