Inland Division M1 Carbine semi automatic rifle. Made 1945. Barrel appears to be unmarked. No import mark found. Inland marked adjustable rear sight, while the front sight is "R" marked on top. Post-War bayonet lug/band. Inland marked slide, trigger group and bolt. "L-J" marked hand guard. M2 "Pot Belly" stock. Circled "P" firing proof on the bottom of the wrist. Post-War arsenal reparkerized finish. Stock has a light oil finish. Includes a post-War green canvas sling, and a M4 bayonet with an M8A1 scabbard. Bayonet is marked "K-M4" on the front of the hilt. No magazine is included. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its arsenal reapplied finish with general wear. Stock and handguard are excellent. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Sling is excellent. Bayonet is good overall, with general wear. Right grip panel has extensive wear. blade does not look to have been sharpened. Scabbard has light wear. JWA
