The Madsen M50 was an inexpensive sheet metal receiver machine gun to produce, and was a nice light, compact, and effective machine gun utilized by police in many countries. It incorporates an interesting grip safety to the rear of the magazine well, which much be depressed in order for the bolt to fully release forward and fire the weapon. Side folding shoulder loop incorporates has a leather covering to provide comfort to the firer. This lot includes three original magazines. Electronic NFA registry indicates “MADSEN” as the manufacturer. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish are near excellent original black enamel finish. Leather on shoulder loop starting to fray, but still completely serviceable. Bore is extremely fine, shiny, and bright. Bolt face is also extremely fine. Mechanics are crisp. This is a full-auto only machine gun. An effective and handy machine gun that is always popular at the range. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER.
