Extremely unique, custom Remington Model 11 semi-automatic shotgun reworked by Griffin & Howe, New York, New York circa the 1920's. Remington Model 11 was built from 1911 to 1949 by Remington Arms Company, Ilion, New York. Gun features a blued ventilated rib barrel with bead front sight and marked on barrel "Rebuilt by Griffin and Howe Inc. New York" with chiseled oak leaf engraving on both sides of the breech. Fully engraved blued frame with vignette coverage and game scene and hunting scene full-coverage engraving. Beautiful checkered piece of Circassian walnut with English grip and Silver's recoil pad which covers rear of frame normally not covered by factory wood. Factory style forend with full checkering. Gun is well-done and a beautiful piece of art. CONDITION: 90% original blue with slight handling wear. 90% varnish with wood having some light dings and scratches. Excellent bore and mechanics. A truly one-of-a-kind work of art. DLM
