Pre-war German 3-barreled hammerless shotgun made in Suhl, Germany by Simson and Company proofed in May of 1926. Blued Krupp "FLUSS-STAHL" barrels with 3 - 16 gauge barrels in triangular form. Barrels are marked "SIMSON & CO SUHL WAFFENFRABRIK" on matted rib with bead front sight and extractors. Game scene engraved coin finish scalloped boxlock action with three triggers, Greener style safety and crossbolt, cocking indicators, and side clips. Action also has Simson name in script across bottom of action. European checkered walnut pistol grip stock made without the usual cheekpiece with hard rubber grip cap and buttplate. Walnut checkered splinter forearm with latch release. A unique gun! CONDITION: 95% original blue with bright coin finish and sharp engraving. Wood has been cleaned with some light handling marks. Buttplate has some chipping. Excellent bores and mechanics. DLM
