Harrington & Richardson M1 Garand semi automatic rifle. Made 1953. Proper "HRA" marked barrel dated "2-54". No import mark found. Springfield marked, bolt, trigger group and operating rod. Operating rod is marked "NM". No markings on the stock, minus a rack number "208" on the hand guard. Standard blade front sight and adjustable peep rear. Metal components retain their original parkerized finish. Stock was lacquered at some point. Checkered metal butt plate with trap door. Includes plastic sight cover and throat protector. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. Wood has finish wear, handling marks and scratches. Bore is shiny, with strong rifling. Mechanically fine. Muzzle reads at a 2, throat at a 2. Accessories are fine. JWA
