Harrington & Richardson M1 Garand semi-automatic rifle. Made 1955-56. Standard markings on the heel of the receiver. LMR barrel dated "9-55". "HRA" marked bolt, trigger group, gas plug, rear sight, and operating rod. DOD boxed eagle cartouche on the left side of the stock. Circled "P" firing proof on the wrist. Standard blade front sight and adjustable rear. Original parkerized finish on the metal components. Stock has a light oil finish and trapdoor metal butt plate. Includes attached green canvas sling, combination tool, and metal oiler. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% or more of its original finish with some light wear and handling marks. Stock is excellent. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Bore and muzzle both gauge at a 1. Mechanically fine. Tools and sling are very good with light wear. JWA
