De Lisle Commando Carbine manufactured by Valkyrie Arms in a limited edition, manufacturing only a total 167 carbines. The carbine consists of a cut-down SMLE No. I Mk III receiver that has been modified to accept modified .45 ACP 1911 magazines, standard wood furniture and accoutrements, newly manufactured wood forend, newly manufactured metal plate, as well as a 16 - 1/8" suppressor. The suppressor is marked "THE DE LISLE COMMANDO CARBINE/ S.n. 21 of 167" over the top, with markings on the bottom stipulating the manufacturer, caliber, and model designations. Rifle is accompanied by 1 modified 1911 magazine. CONDITION: Rifle retains the vast majority of its reapplied blue finish, exhibiting a few areas of wear that show through to silvering. Suppressor shows some scattered handling marks that show through to silvering. Bore is bright, retaining good rifling throughout. Stock is good, as sanded and refinished, exhibiting some scattered handling marks and impressions. A nice example of a desirable Valkyrie Arms De Lisle Commando Carbine. MLW
