This is a registered receiver forward pinned 4-position pictograph selector lower with a magazine release “tab” on the bottom of the magazine well. The gun was manufactured in 1982 as indicated by the “IC” code on left side of magazine well. Also marked “HK 53” on left side of magazine well next to the serial number. Right side of magazine well marked "Made in Germany HK Inc. Arl. Va 22201". Gun features include a composite shoulder stock and vertical forward grip. 1 30-round magazine marked, “Made in Germany” is included. Electronic NFA registry indicates “Form 2 Registration” as the manufacturer. Incoming Form 4 indicates “HK” as the manufacturer. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine to near excellent black hard coat original finish with only the slightest of handling marks. Composite furnishings of buttstock and pistol grip near excellent. Bore is near excellent, shiny, and bright. Bolt extremely fine. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select-fire machine gun.
