Very sought after registered fully transferable M14 machine gun barreled receiver. Marked “M14” with serial number on top rear of receiver with importer marking on underside of barrel, this barreled action awaits only the fitting of the appropriate M14 parts to be made into a highly sought machine gun. NFA electronic registry indicates “FORM 2 REGISTRATION” as the manufacturer. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent original smooth matte grey finish with an area of bare metal at right side of the chamber where a threaded hole is, probably as a pre-cursor to assuring the barrel does not move once screwed into the receiver. Bore is near excellent, shiny, and bright. Companion piece in this lot is a “U.S. Property” marked Smith Enterprises of Tempe, AZ silencer. Marked "MDL M15-DCA CAL 7.62”, with serial number and contract number on body of tube. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine to near excellent deep blue finish on tube, with attractive smooth grey finish at rear of can with knurled locking knob also a grey finish. Close examination of the bore of this silencer indicates it has been shot a significant amount and is in need of refurbishment. The outside looks so darn good, especially with the marking, that this cataloger would have the work done if it were mine. THESE ARE NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEMS AND REQUIRE BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. EACH OF THESE ITEMS ARE FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4.
