German made "Vierling" combination gun made in Suhl, Germany and marketed by "W. Eblen, Stuttgart" dated "10-40". 23 - 3/4" blued Krupp-Laufstahl barrels with matted rib and bead front sight, extractors, fitted with claw mounts and rail mounts fitted with Ruger style rings and a Leupold 1.5 to 5x scope. Gun features 16 gauge side by side shotgun with "22 Lang" caliber barrel and 8x57JR caliber barrel directly below. "Dural" game scene engraved boxlock scalloped frame with sideclips, double triggers, with both being set triggers, tang barrel selector, side safety with rimfire selector switch in front of triggerguard. Checkered walnut pistol grip stock with horn grip cap and buttplate with bullet trap in the toe and cheekpiece. Checkered walnut splinter forearm with latch release. CONDITION: 90% original barrel and triggerguard blue with bright Dural action finish. Wood has been cleaned with light coat of linseed oil added. Stock has hairline crack behind action on right and two cracks on the left with crack heading towards tang from safety button. Cracks could easily be repaired. Excellent bores and mechanics with clear optics. DLM
