Interesting German made four barrel gun known as a "Vierling" made by "JOHAN JAKOB REEB" Bonn, Germany circa the 1930's. 23 -1/2" blued Bohler Steel barrels serial numbered "18949" with 16 gauge side by side shotgun barrels on top with raised matted rib with blade front sight, extractor, rear flip sight and claw mounts fitted with later period rings and Redfield 2-3/4x scope. Underneath shotgun barrels is a 5.56 Vierling barrel(22 Hornet) with a 8x57JR caliber barrel below. "Dural" boxlock frame with scroll engraving, double triggers both being set, side safety, side clips and top tang safety. Frame is serial numbered "17949" ? Checkered round knob pistol grip stock with cheekpiece, horn buttplate and bow type sling swivels. Checkered walnut splinter forearm with latch release. CONDITION: 90% original barrel blue with light handling marks. Frame has been cleaned to a bright aluminum finish. Wood has been cleaned with light coat of linseed oil. Excellent bores and mechanics with clear optics. DLM
