Rare German "Vierling" 4 barreled rifle/shotgun combination made before World War II marked on right barrel "AUGUST HUSING" and on left barrel "GOTTINGEN". 23 -1/2" blued 16x16 x 8x57JR x 5.56 Vierling(22Hornet) "Krupp Laufstahl" barrels with raised matted rib, fitted with blade front sight, claw scope mounts, extractors and rear flip down rifle sights. Boxlock action with single top lug Greener style crossbolt, side safety, top tang barrel selector, double set triggers, sideclips and line and partial covering scroll engraving with blued engraved steel triggerguard. European walnut checkered scalloped pistol grip stock with added recoil pad. Walnut splinter forearm with latch release. CONDITION: 90% barrel blue with light scratches and dings. Action has some areas of discoloration with a brown patina starting to develop. Wood has been cleaned with some light handling marks and usage dings with small crack on each side behind action. Excellent bore and mechanics. DLM
