Egyptian Hakim semi-automatic rifle. Made 1950s in Egypt and based on the Swedish Ljungman AG-42 design. Standard Egyptian markings on the left side of the chamber and rear sight. Small cartouche on the front of the pistol grip. No visible import mark found. Original muzzle device with standard post front, and rear u-notch. Factory military blued finish on the metal components. Stock has a light oil finish. includes original 10 round detachable magazine. Includes some consignor notes on the rifle. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with a few handling marks, edge wear and scratches. Gas system is clean, showing little signs of use. Rubber ejection buffer is excellent. Stock is excellent with a few handling marks. Front metal retaining band is slightly bent, and ill fitting. Bore is shiny, retaining crisp rifling. Magazine is excellent. By far one of the nicest Hakims this cataloger has seen! JWA
