Pre Ban Colt SP1 AR-15 semi automatic rifle. Made 1978. Standard markings on the left side of the lower. Barrel is marked "C MP CHROME BORE". Forge markings on the right side of the upper. "C" marked bolt. Pencil weight barrel with A1 flash hider and bayonet lug. Standard post front sight and adjustable 2 position flip rear sight. Original phosphate finish on the metal components. A1 butt stock, pistol grip and triangular forearm. Plastic butt plate with trapdoor in the butt. Includes 20 round Colt marked aluminum magazine with metal follower. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with general wear and handling marks. Some components have some brown discoloration. Furniture is excellent. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has light wear. JWA
