An excellent Spanish manufactured copy of the desirable Ithaca Auto & Burglar line of shotguns manufactured for Holland Firearms, Inc. in Houston, TX. This example is marked "AUTO-BURGLAR" on the left side of the frame, with the barrels and rib being marked "MADE IN SPAIN / HOLLAND FIREARMS, INC. HOUSTON-TEXAS" / 20 GA. 3 MAGNUM". Barrel flats bear Spanish proofs and nitro proof markings, with the water table bearing additional Spanish proofs, nitro markings, and the serial number. Furniture is comprised of a hardwood forend and pistol grip stock. Forend and stock feature diamond pattern checkering. Left side of frame retains its lanyard loop. Frame, triggers, and pistol grip pommel cap are case colored, with the barrel, trigger guard, and forend being blued. Matching numbers are present on the frame, barrels, forend, pistol grip stock, and pommel cap. CONDITION: Metal components are near excellent overall, with the frame retaining vibrant case coloring and showing some extremely light oxidation and some minor handling marks. Blued components are exquisite, retaining bountiful amounts of their blue finish and showing only a few minor spots of wear. Wood furniture shows some scattered handling marks as well as some minor losses to the varnish. Checkering shows some wear as well as losses to the diamonds. A very attractive Spanish manufactured copy of the iconic Auto & Burglar shotgun. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER.
