Originally manufactured by Winchester in 1984 as a Model 1300 Defender, this shotgun was later converted by Urbach Precision Manufacturing Co. into a Short Barrel Shotgun. The left side of the barrel is stamped "WINCHESTER DEFENDER 20GA. 2 3/4" & 3"" above Winchesters manufacturer information, with the left side of the receiver is marked "URBACH PRECISION MFG. CO./ GARLAND. TEXAS U.S.A." followed by the serial number. Features include a 9 - 1/2" barrel, black polymer HK MP5 pattern foregrip installed on the pump, wood buttstock fitted with a rubber recoil pad, as well as a brass front bead sight. CONDITION: Excellent, with metal components retaining virtually all of their finishes with the exception of a few minor handling and storage marks that are showing through to silvering. Mirror bore. Wood buttstock show some scattered indentations and marks from handling and storage, but is otherwise sturdy and serviceable. A nice converted Winchester Model 1300 Defender shotgun that would make for a fine home defense shotgun. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4. MLW
