German WWII Heer M42 single decal helmet marked "ET64" for the maker of "Eisenhuttenwerke Thale", in a shell size of 64, with a lot number of "2647". Shell retains 80-85% of its original rough gray-green paint, with areas of freckling where the finish is damaged, and storage dust and dirt. Interior retains approximately 85% of its rough gray-green finish, with the remaining areas freckled and dirty. A nice black ink stamp is present in the center. Heer decal is in approximately 80% condition with the required era coat of lacquer, which shows up nicely with a backlight. Original zinc liner band is present, undisturbed, and with loose rivets. Liner is complete, untouched, in a medium tan color, with a size stamp of "5x", with light to moderate fraying and damage to the leather. Drawstring is not present. Chinstrap with steel fittings is attached, with no visible markings, with moderate wear. CONDITION: Overall very good. WEZ
