Lot contains: (A) Imperial German WWI M17 relic shell with no visible markings. M1891 chinstrap mounts and M17 vets are still present. Shell has approximately 12 inches of cracks, and entire surface exhibits heavy rust and pitting. CONDITION: Overall poor. (B) Third Reich M18 transitional helmet marked "G62" for "Gebruder Gnuechtel". Exterior retains approximately 90% of its 1930s reissue field-gray paint, and 60-65% of its interior paint. A M1931 liner and zinc band assembly is present with moderate aging and staining, and it appears to have been era added. Chinstrap with aluminum and steel fittings is attached with moderate to heavy wear. CONDITION: Overall very good. WEZ
