GP/WASR-10/63 manufactured by Century Arms International from a combination of newly manufactured components and components originating from a former Romanian military rifle. The left side of the receiver is stamped "GP/WASR-10/63" over "Cal. 7.62x39mm", with the right side bearing the manufacturer and importer information. The left side of the trunnion bears the Cugir Arms Factory arrow within a triangle manufacturer symbol, followed by the original date of manufacture "1972" and the serial number. Matching numbers are present on the trunnion, bolt carrier, and bolt. Features include a 16 - 1/4" barrel, AKM pattern slant muzzle brake, bayonet lug, laminated wood lower handguard and buttstock, hard wood upper handguard, rubber recoil pad, as well as a cross-hatch pattern polymer pistol grip. Rifle is accompanied by one 30-round TAPCO polymer magazine and one Type 3 AK pattern bayonet with scabbard and insulator. Cleaning rod and butt trap cleaning kit are not present. CONDITION: Metal components retain the majority of their factory applied finish, exhibiting scattered nicks and handling marks that show through to silvering overall. Bore is bright and exhibits good rifling throughout. Wood furniture is very good as refinished, showing some few handling marks. MLW
