Springfield Armory M1 Garand semi automatic rifle. Made 1952. Barrel looks to be unmarked, with no import marks found either. Springfield marked bolt and operating rod. Trigger group is "IHC" marked. Standard blade front sight with lockbar rear peep sight. Most metal components were reparkerized at some point. Stock has been sanded and lacquered. Forearm and handguard are new production, having a light oil finish. Checkered metal butt plate with trap door. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its arsenal reapplied finish. Stock has a few handling marks and scratches. Bore is clean overall with strong rifling. Mechanically fine. Muzzle reads at a 1, throat at a 2. JWA
